\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLeaving for Paris in 1922, immediately after graduating from the Technical Faculty in Belgrade, where he studied at the\u00a0\u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts<\/em>, Zlokovi\u0107 began his research work in the field of classical European and Byzantine architecture, with special interests in its compositional and architectural principles, and then actively continues by returning to Belgrade and engaging in the\u00a0Department of Architecture<\/em>\u00a0of the\u00a0Technical Faculty<\/em>. Zlokovi\u0107\u2019s research activities were initially related to field research of sacral and profane architecture in the Balkans, primarily southern Serbia (North Macedonia) and the Boka Kotorska area (Montenegro), and by strengthening the modern movement and his own commitment to new architectural principles, Zlokovi\u0107 drew attention to experts and the wider public through public lectures and the written word, to new understandings and features of contemporary architecture. During the German occupation and in the period after the Second World War, his research work was almost entirely focused on theoretical analyzes and considerations of practical application of modular coordination in modern design practice, in which he made a pioneering contribution to that area in Yugoslavia and wider Europe. Zlokovi\u0107 enriched Serbian architectural culture and science with more than fifty thematically different written works in which he communicated his studies and analyzes, opinions and observations, research and comments, understanding their role and importance for academic and scientific existence, but also for continuous improvement of design conception and finding new possibilities and solutions.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
