The project for the Pantheon<\/em>, the temple of all gods, Zlokovi\u0107 worked on for the needs of the state exam, that is, for the purpose of acquiring the professional authorization of an architect. In the evolution of Zlokovi\u0107’s path to modernism, several projects of historicist evocation stand out with elements from the national architectural history and a vocabulary of romantic and expressionist orientations. Searching for his own architectural expression, devoid of repetition of historical templates, Zlokovi\u0107, in his premodern phase, reached for various architectural models from the national, European and Mediterranean heritage, innovatively applying them to compositionally diverse structures. The design of the Pantheon is a combination of Art Nouveau volume (geometric cubic corpus with raised dome) and neo-Romanesque decorative treatment expressed in the form of a recessed portal, indented central zone with a rose window and a horizontal final frieze with a stylized interlacing. According to the plans, the temple in the lower zone above the pedestal is surrounded by a strip with a continuous shallow relief, which is associated with narrative Egyptian relief series that will be taken over by Art Deco in a similar aesthetic at that time.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
