On the occasion of the European Heritage Day, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Belgrade organized the exhibition “Traces of Travel – Watercolors by Milan Zloković”. The exhibition was opened on October 1, 2019 and its duration was extended until December 31. It is realized in cooperation with the Foundation. The author of the exhibition is art historian Hajna Tucić.

From the foreword to the exhibition catalog:

„The exhibition presents a little-known painting opus and poetics of one of the most important Serbian architects Milan Zlokovic, who designed exceptional modernist buildings in Serbia and the surrounding area (his own family house on Neimar, villas for families Šterić and Prendić, hotel “Žiča” in Mataruška Banja, University Children’s Clinic, FIAT building, contemporary architecture buildings in Prizren and Ulcinj). A wide range of talents of this architect and artist is revealed through a variety of themes of a specific watercolor painting technique, along with depictions of landscapes from travels.”
